DISTRESS Class Crucifixion (Demo) By: Emmanuel Goldstein
Orange County's answer to the watered-down ska punk going around. This is definitely old-school influenced. DISTRESS is probably the only Peace-Punk band I know of in the area today. Songs range from slow and choppy to hard fast thrashing. My only complaint is the same old boring song about beer, but the other 5 are original. Lyrics are intelligent and the subjects involve religious conflicts, government oppression, and man's destruction of society. This is one of the better cassettes I've heard lately.
