 I first chanced upon Billy James, aka the Ant-Bee, a few years back when he popped up (in disguise!) on a Beach Boys Smile bootleg. Next, a Dutch pal informed me Billy was touring and recording with the majority of F.Zappa's original - and finest - Mothers (Of Invention). And now, from the U.K., come four new songs, including a should-be-chart-topping version of the greatest-ever Stones B-side plus two pretties-for-you recorded in collaboration with the (pre-vaudeville daze, that is) Alice Cooper Band mastermind Michael Bruce. Y'know, if you think the caliber of his back-up boys alone is any indication of just how perversely with-it Billy is, wait'll you hear the music!!
