Neosoreskin
Toiletry (Neo Records)

By: Alex Steininger

While other ska bands are out there trying so hard to break the stereotyping of ska, Neosoreskin is at the front line creating the stereotypes. Their music is all about fun, more fun, laughs, and a good beer to wash it down with at the end of the night. Carnival-ska at it's wickedest, the music never takes itself seriously, so neither should you.

Neosoreskin sounds like a disgruntle, acid-tripping clown who decided to leave the circus and create his own style of music. The kind of music that strikes fear in the hearts of million of children, causing them to believe all clowns are out to get them.

This disc will make you feel this way as well. A ferriswheel ride that just won't end, the merry-go-round won't stop pounding that annoying tune into your head, and kids running around screaming everywhere. Any good thoughts you ever had about the carnival ruined in one disc.

The music is too far off in left field to even grasp any piece of reality, and as the disc keeps spinning, it only gets worse. TOILETRY is right. After listening to this disc just once, I couldn't take it anymore. It was annoying, obnoxious, and possessed. I'll give this disc a D.
