The Black Bible (Cleopatra Records)

By: DJ Dysdynia

Once again from the compilation masters, ( they have really out done themselves this time) "The Black Bible." For every song you may have wanted but never had, has been put together on the ultimate release of 1998. The cover box for this 4 CD is simply beautiful the beginnings of the wondrous things inside. A history of Goth incripted in the songs from the past such as Ministry's "Everyday is Halloween," Grave 45's "Party Time," and The Virgin Prune's "Pagan Lovesong." Songs representing the present, Switchblade Symphony's "Drool," Gary Numan's "Dead Heaven" and Suspiria's "Allegedly, Dancefloor Tragedy." For anyone out there even curious about the Goth genre, just buy some black eyeliner, black pants and shirt, and memorize every song on this collection. BAM! Insta-Goth and no one would ever know the difference.
