 Before I get started, Unbelievable Truth vocalist/guitarist Andy Yorke is the younger brother of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke. Now that I've gotten that out of the way I can continue, because although his vocals do at times hint of his brothers', Almost Here shows that this trio doesn't need to rely on relatives. On their debut Unbelievable Truth presents eleven cuts of stark, introspective pop that are haunting, yet beautiful, lush yet simple. Almost Here is the perfect soundtrack for those quiet days of melancholy.
