 With a sound scraped right off the mean streets of New York City, SCRAPE are a composite (conflagration?!?) of death metal, hardcore and that hard edged new breed sound. They are hard working, self reliant and have shared the stage with several of the underground's most intense acts. So what's not to like? Very little. This band seem to be doing everything right. Their intensity and vibrancy are evident on the demo. Their heaviness and forceful playing is on par with any number of more recognizable bands. Their marketing and work ethic is great. This is a band that you should be hearing much more from in the near future. Labels would be foolish to pass them up (in spite of the fact nobody seems to be beating the doors down of bands like SCRAPE these days - yesterday's flavor? - who cares?). I have no idea how long this demo is going to be available so you will want to get in touch soon.
