Dizzy Dizzy MK II
Demo (Dizzy Dizzy)

By: Jeb Branin

This is the kind of punk that is going to truly appeal to fans who have been around the punk block a few times and seen more than their fair share of generic and redundant bands. DIZZY DIZZY MK II crank out the kind of noisy tunes that are just dripping with cynicism. It isn't jaded, exactly, it is more like snotty. But not that young, smart ass way of being snotty. Snotty in the sense that these guys are obviously doing what they want, how they want and aren't making amends for anyone. I get the distinct impression they have seen far too much to jump on any sort of bandwagon. Hell, these guys wouldn't know a bandwagon if it ran them down in the street. Consequently they aren't going to be embraced with open arms by the masses (not even the punk masses) but they are going to win over the fans that want a band with integrity and credibility. Fans that want it raw and gruff but still have an ear for melody and hooks. Fans who want their punk stripped down and simple. Fans that like their music to kick them in the teeth are going to get booted by DIZZY DIZZY. Everyone else might as well not even bother. They aren't going to "get it" anyway.
