If You Forget Me... (Splinter)

 Led by the gorgeous, sultry vocals of bassist/frontwoman Sara Lov, the Devics sophomore effort If You Forget Me ... is a delightful collection of jazzy torch songs, largely dark and haunting, with an occasional touch of X-like aggression ("Three") and gothic country flavor ("Siren Song", sung by guitarist Dustin O'Halloran"). If You Forget Me... has quickly become a favorite of mine, and is a definite must have for fans of bands like Cowboy Junkies, Mazzy Star and Nick Cave.
