Garrison Twenty-Four/You're Devastated, I'm Sure 7" (ESPO Records) By: Alex Steininger

Wanting to rock but still touch a nerve, Garrison lays out two emotionally charged, fast, and punk-drenched emo numbers. "Twenty-Four" mixes rambunctious guitars with screaming, fiery vocals that settle down and hit you with their emotionally crying tone before ripping back into the fury again. "You're Devastated, I'm Sure" is a bit more subtle. The vocals still kick your ass with some bloody heart screams, but the song is a bit more sobering and poppy. All on see through vinyl. Can you go wrong with see through vinyl and some emo? Not here you can't. I'll give it a B+.
