The Lot Six The Code Mode (Espo Records) By: Alex Steininger

Fast, furious hardcore punk with quirky screams, razor sharp guitars, and a math rock feeling, The Lot Six's brand of hardcore is new and refreshing, a different take on a tried and true form. Though, only an EP, The Lot Six get what they want done. And, they're even able to finish it on a soft note, calming you down before you hit the repeat button and charge yourself back up again. Hardcore punk with indie and math rock leanings? Ah... what a breath of fresh air. I'll give this a B.
