 Oh, Inverted World is a colossal indie pop record, loaded with relaxed, jarring, and subtle hooks. The Shins aren't afraid of dipping into some lo-fi rock treatment one minute and going into a 180 degree twist and completely settling down for some jangle-y, intimate offerings the next.What they do best is stargazing lo-fi pop. Whether they put this structure into a rock song or a soft, settled number, they always get your eyes twinkling with the sparkling gems they create. I'll give this a B.
