Boilermaker
Leucadia (Better Looking Records)

By: Alex Steininger

Loud and rocking, Boilermaker's Leucadia is a collection of three EPs - 1994's Watercourse (Goldenrod), 1996's In Wallace's Shadow, and 1998's Untitled (Wrenched/Cargo) and two new unreleased songs. The songs are very emotionally draining, leaning the band and the songs into the emo genre. With plenty of tearing vocals, jagged, fierce guitars, and soft to loud rhythms, Boilermaker deliver better-than-most emo rock sure to rip right into you and make you feel the pain and sorrow that the band is churning out. I'll give it a B.15
