 Loud, 70's arena rock meets plenty of stoner grooves, Five Horse Johnson carry out blues-tingled hard rock with both dynamic and melodic moments aplenty. This is bar rock that manages to make it out of the seedy local bar and into stoner and guitar-rock fans CD collections. Five Horse Johnson is also the band that gets plenty of stereo play at parties, as people get drunk and stoned to their intoxicating sound. I'll give it a B. 15
