 Merrick's Drive Around A lot Hard and Fast Driving Club is a beautifully composed, dazzling mixture of faint guitars, windy vocals, and rainy-day pop music. Dark and weepy, with a scent of optimism and sunshine, the vocals of Bryony and Inara whisk you away to a serene place, one where you can sit, calm and content, allowing the melodic tenderness of Merrick to sooth you over. This is heartfelt indie-folk-pop worth checking it. Bouncy at times, while other times quiet and relaxed, Merrick manages to deliver a record that has the bounce, darkness, and balls to remain a favorite for quite some time. I'll give it an A.
