 This is a Noise Records label sampler for fans of classic power metal and thrash. This CD contains classic cuts by the likes of VIRGIN STEELE, HELLOWEEN, IRON SAVIOR, GAMMA RAY, RUNNING WILD, CELTIC FROST, and KREATOR. There are a couple more recent acts as well, namely STRATOVARIUS and KAMELOT. This album might be viewed as a great mix of the new and the old or it might be seen as a marketing ploy to try and connect some of the label's recent releases to some of its classic fare. Regardless, it's a good listen for fans of pure metal.
