Light As A Feather, Stiff As A Board (Two Sheds Music)

 Abrasive guitar-driven loud rock, Sharks and Minnows' Light As A Feather, Stiff As A Board is a monstrous, amped up rock record with a sliver of melody helping to push the songs to the extreme. Chaotic at times, while slowing things down and offering heart-wrenching sorrow during other moments, the band has the ability to rock out and blast you, or to make you sit back and feel every bit of emotion that they're trying to convey. This is a solid record from a band that plays off of their faults (like rough edges), while showing a lot of promise. I'll give this a B-.
