 In Terry Zwigoff's adaptation of Daniel Clowes' comic book, two recent high school grads (Thora Birch, Scarlett Johansson) undergo a summer of learning experiences, set in motion by a prank played on a lonely record collector (Steve Buscemi). All three turn in delightful performances, chiefly Buscemi, who seems to get better with every film. Ghost World is one of those funny, often poignant films...but not as crappy as the description would imply. Highly recommended for purchase.Special features: deleted and alternate scenes, "making of" featurette, Gumnaam music video for "Jaan Pehechaan Ho," trailer.
