The Constantines The Modern Sinner Nervous Man EP (Suicide Squeeze) By: Alex Steininger

Loud and obnoxious (in a bad way), The Constantines crank the guitars and blast out powerful, angry, fierce rock. Lacking melody, which isn't always a bad thing, they sound like an emo band trying to put the pedal to the metal and go the route of hardcore, all while remaining 'indie rock', a concoction that just doesn't work for them. I'll give it a C-.
