 With delicate, lush orchestration and shaky pop running, the well-composed, but naive sounding Matt Pond PA creates pop innocence in a blossoming flower shell, opening up as the album spins, giving the listener a flawed, imperfect treat. It is in the flaws where Matt Pond's beauty lies, from the emotive, puzzled-sounding vocals to the soothing pop backdrop. The Green Fury is a pop album that will grow on you the more you listen to it, and after several listens the flower will open, fully blossoming and revealing its true secrets to you. I'll give it a B+.
