Moneen The Theory of Harmonial Value (Small Man Records) By: Cam Lindsay
Who ever thought an emo band would dedicate an album to Dr. Loslo Pronowski? Well, Moneen has and no, it doesn't take away from the music. The Theory of Harmonial Value is an action-packed bunch of songs filled with blood, sweat and tears. Known for their outrageously wild live shows, Moneen has done a good job of compacting that energy and life into a recording. They waste no time, kicking off the album with the hyper "The start to this may be the end to another". Full of the sentiment Jimmy Eat World express and the loud guitars of a band like The Alkaline Trio, Moneen cover all the bases necessary to make a great punk record.
