 I remember, back in the day, looking through Metal Edge or RIP and thinking how poochy these chicks looked, never once considering they might be a good band. Years later, I finally gave them a chance after learning they had the Lemmy seal of approval and I cursed my youthful stupidity. These chicks rock harder than any of the chick bands of the day, save maybe the Plasmatics, who don't really count since Wendy O. was it for the estrogen contingent. But thinkin' of the Runaways and Lita Ford and Heart--Girlschool wins the catfight. This greatest hits collection is a good place to start if you were stupid like me.
