 The man with the lungs of denim and leather is back for another go. Without a doubt Udo Dirkschneider has one of the most distinct voices in heavy metal. Like Lemmy or Ozzy or Brian Johnson, you know it's him the instant you here the voice. "Man and Machine" is pure UDO. It has the trademark mix of fast and slow. Ponderous and pounding. Silly and sublime. I can't imagine that Udo will ever reached the pinnacle with this band that he achieved with ACCEPT, but, my friends, he's getting close. This is real metal. As real as it gets.
