 If you, like me, have come to expect nothing less than total aural ruination from AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, then you, like me, will get just what you expect from the long awaited full length "Frozen Corpse Stuffed With Dope" CD. Built on a foundation of programmed beats exploding at a near white-noise pace, the insane delivery of AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED rivals any and all blur core for pure speed and ferocity yet it also maintains a precision delivery that most blur bands can't even dream of realizing It's almost as if ANB want to test Einstein's theory of relativity by achieving light speed... Musically there isn't a thing on here that is going to disappoint fans of the extreme. Unfortunately the band's lyrics are nowhere near as impressive. I'm not sure if it's a new wrinkle they've added on this album, or if I've simply managed to miss it before, but their lyrics are rife with misogyny, homophobia and even some anti-Semitism: There is hardly one reference to women in these 38 songs that doesn't refer to them as "bitches" and talk about mocking them or abusing them, usually sexually. They use the word "queer" to express derision in more than one song. There is even a song that initially seems to make fun of racism but then undercuts itself by supporting the idea that Jewish doctors "suffocate non-compliant patients." If you buy the album, I recommend just tossing the lyric sheet out the window without even reading it. Stupidity is a real downer.
