 Expanding beyond the rap-metal of their debut, Papa Roach goes for the melodic hard rock sound on Lovehatetragedy. Crushing rhythms alongside scream-to-soft vocals, Papa Roach manage to stand at the top of the heap, sounding stronger and writing better songs than the rest of the nu-metal horde. Sing-along songs and loud rockers, Papa Roach delivers a record that will be all over the airwaves. I'll give it a C+.
