Loud guitars, lots of beats to shake your ass too, and plenty of sweaty, chaotic rhythms, The Mooney Suzuki's brand of garage rock recalls its 70's origins, while pushing forward with a modern twist that helps them avoid being called revivalists or anything else. This is fresh, wild rock 'n' roll that lives and breathes in the now, calling upon past ghosts, yes, but branding everything with their own stamp. One listen to songs like the infectious "A Little Bit of Love", the mid-tempo "Natural Fact", and the bash-it-out, blazing rock of "I Woke Up This Morning" find you longing for the glory days of rock while you rediscover it through The Mooney Suzuki. I'll give it an A-.
