Bikeride Morning Macumba (A Hidden Agenda Record) By: Alex Steininger

Long Beach's Bikeride mirror their surroundings, creating sunny, California-soaked lo-fi pop, flushing it out with instruments such as the Moog, Wurlitzer, flute, horns, and programming. An approach that will have you indulging in an upbeat, bouncy Moog-driven indie-rock song one minute, a jazz-laden jangle-y hook the next, and dreamy, quirky beats soon thereafter. Bikeride covers the pop spectrum, a vast undertaking, and somehow makes each song unique and different, while retaining the Bikeride 'sound' throughout. I'll give it an A.
