Cargo Cult Strange Men Bearing Gifts (Touch and Go Records) By: Alex Steininger

Equal parts punk and mayhem, the off-the-wall rock of Cargo Cult is sloppy and careless. Like a drunken hootenanny gone astray, the band plays their songs without giving them a second thought. They cruise from one to the next, jumping around like it's a party, blaring the slightly experimental, old school punk rock sound out of your speakers with staggering vocals and plenty of guitar and chaotic rhythms to ensure a completely fucked-up time. I'll give it a C.
