Jumbo's Killcrane
Carnaval De Carne (Crucial Blast)

By: Jeb Branin

This band has been called "prog-sludge" and I can't think of a better description for their viscous audio depravity. The songs are densely textured and thickly layered and built upon a solid foundation of slow to mid-paced tar-core. With the semi-clean, yet tortured, vocals JUMBO's KILLCRANE has more in common with heavycore masters like 16, ANGER OVERLOAD and CAVITY than they do with the GRIEF inspired crowd. While some extreme music kills quickly and cleanly, JUMBO's KILLCRANE ravages like a slow spreading cancer... slowly eating away the healthy tissue, perverting it, replacing it bit by bit with a new and pernicious mass that consumes and consumes and consumes...
