Curl Up and Die But the Past Ain't Through With Us [MCD] (Revelation Records) By: Jeb Branin

Following up the extremely powerful "Unfortunately We're Not Robots" CD, this mini-album is a companion release to their EP "We May Be Through With the Past." It has three quick-hitting tracks of more DEP-styled neo-grind that's guaranteed to cause cranial contusions. The fourth track is a 14+ minute monster that is part experimental noise, part grindcore, and part acoustic wankering. If this is what some call "math metal" then this last tune is advanced calculus.
