 I've sung the praises of every STRUCTURE OF LIES release I've ever heard but on their split with MISERY INDEX they've upped the ante and merely "singing" their praises isn't enough* I gotta SCREAM them. These four tracks are everything that grinding death is supposed to be* technical, violent and crushing. What these tunes do to your eardrums would constitute felonious assault in most states. So how does MISERY INDEX stand up in compassion? Just fine, thank you very much. Their music is definitely the same flavor (technical, violent and crushing) but rawer and more chaotic. The vocals are truly sick and twisted* not so much the death metal growwwwwl, more like an articulate vomit. Gotta love it! If you have been trying to think of a way to pay your mother back for all those times she made you eat liver and brussel sprouts, now is your chance, give her this CD as a holiday gift. She'll never be the same again.
