Johnny 5 is a Queens, NY based band who've joined forces to create a free-flowing kind of music that encompasses bands like The Beatles, Weezer, and Dave Matthews. Nothing here is too heavy or excessively deep; instead, the band lays back with a straw in its collective mouth and jams out tunes like the finger-snapping good time of "Lunatic" and the driving groove of "Shakedown" without any worries or cares. Tight songwriting and clever lyrics propel this smarter than most six-track offering, making Johnny 5 a perennial favorite amongst pop connoisseurs and college rock fans alike.
