 Kor-lokt is a metal outfit whose brawny delivery sounds a little bit like the heavier end of the NYHC spectrum mixing with Vulgar-era Pantera, making the five-track offering brutal yet diverse. Songs like "The War Is On" mix Sepultura's tribal nature with E-Town Concrete's belligerence, while "Point of Impact" could double as an Anthrax riff with Chris from Cannibal Corpse singing. Heavily twisting and turning, the constant tempo and riff changes by this Long Island quintet should not only please old school headbangers and intricate metal geeks alike, but it should give the metal masses one more thing to mosh with pride to.
