 This split is another skull-splitting effort from IRON LUNG that skirts tantalizingly close to extreme music perfection. Combining the harsh aggression of grindcore with the unrelenting severity of power violence, IRON LUNG are carving a niche for themselves that few bands can come close to matching. In only one side of a 7" IRON LUNG manage to demonstrate their mastery of both mid-paced brutishness and hell-bent-hyper-thrash. On the flip side is the quirky pirate-goth of SCURVY BASTARDS and, um, well, did I mention how good the IRON LUNG side was?
