Blood, Sweat, and Ten Years: Trustkill Records (Trustkill)

By: Mike SOS

Hard to fathom that underground pioneer label Trustkill Records have been breaking new bands in the extreme rock scene for 10 years, but such is the case. To commemorate the occasion, the New Jersey based company has comprised an 18-track compilation disc that spans its catalog and showcases the best of the past decade. Featuring previously released material by such acts as Poison the Well, Open Hand, Most Precious Blood, as well as a glimpse at new material by Eighteen Visions and Walls of Jericho, Trustkill's hand continues to be firmly placed on what the kids are moshing to. If you're familiar with the label's successes, or if you have a hankering to listen to what's rising up from the all-ages VFW shows you always seem to miss, this celebratory release will aptly work for both situations. Here's to 10 more glorious, productive, and groundbreaking years!
