Slim Cessna's Auto Club The Blovdy Tenent Trvth Peace (Alternative Tentacles) By: Jeb Branin
I'm often at a loss for how to describe Slim Cessna's Auto Club, but if Darby Crash had played back-porch bluegrass and hill-billy blues instead of punk rock, it would have sounded something like this. If you can't get your head around that description then imagine the Coen Brothers deciding to remake the film "Oh, Brother Where Art Thou" and set it in hell instead of the Deep South. Slim Cessna's Auto Club would be the obvious choice to do the soundtrack. If you still can't grasp the idea, this album is probably more than you can handle.
