David Mead Wherever You Are (Eleven Thirty Records) By: Alex Steininger
David Mead's six-song EP Everever You Are is a nice example of beautiful pop craftsmanship fueled by solid lyrics and a tenderness to translate life experiences into universally accessible songs. And though the music is straight-ahead pop-rock, Mead's songwriting abilities take the normal and excel it. Creating a sturdy, memorable, and quite hooky offering here that makes you believe Mead's full-length will be something to take notice of, because this EP is a great collection of strong pop songs that know the right time to rock. I'll give it a B+.
