Hill to Hill 7" (Foe Records Box 4 Bethlehem, PA)

By: Jeff Lockwood

If you were unlucky enough to ever attend a catholic high school, you might make a record similar to the first release by the Philadelphia power quartet known only as anonymous. Hill to Hill contains three songs of pure emotion that just might leave your hands trembling and your soul crying. While the public school graduate will get a glimpse of what it was like to attend a catholic high school, anyone can hear the lonely reality of living in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania and all listeners can delight in the musical storm that strikes and stuns the listener with punk rock, an emotional release, and uncontrollabe feelings. This record is now in it's second pressing, and if you ever get your hands on the yellow vinyl first pressing delight, consider yourself one of the fortunate few. The band is now putting some finishing touches on a full length CD that should be in stores before you decide that punk is no longer in style.
