 In spite of how great this CD is I must admit I was little bit disappointed the first couple of times through. If for no other reason that this debut full length isn't as sludgey and painfully pummeling as IRON MONKEY's previous ep. After getting over the fact that the band hadn't managed to top themselves I gotta say that any band that manages to merge the best qualities of EYEHATEGOD and GRIEF is one worth checking out. IRON MONKEY also introduce a heavy element of stoner grind this time around which somehow manages to both enhance and detract from the overall delivery of the album.
