Not to be confused with the New York GRATEFUL DEAD inspired band of the exact same name, these DEADBEATS hail from Sweden and crank out high octane rock 'n roll that is supercharged by a punk-like vibe and a "middle finger in the air" attitude. This CD roars like a supped up hotrod. THE DEADBEATS would find kinship with bands like THE SUPERSUCKERS and THE HELLACOPTERS and fans of either of these two bands will be drooling over the grease, sweat, blood and tears that are spilled all over the tuneage of this quartet. If you want spit and polish go look somewhere else but if you want just the spit you will be right on target.
