 I started saving up my allowance money to buy records in 1978. By 1980 I had discovered extreme music and by 1983 I was immersed in the underground. I have had people ask me how, after all this time, I can still get excited about extreme music. The answer is simple... I keep finding bands like THE CONTROL. Hailing from Buffalo, NY this is yet another band in the ever upsurging thrash scene. A scene that is growing continually closer to reaching musical perfection. THE CONTROL somehow merges a highly chaotic sound with distinctive and undeniably tuneful undertones. The combination of vehement and melodic has quite an interesting end effect... it is like someone is beating you to a bloody pulp but they are doing it with a pillow. If you have no idea what I am what I am talking about you can easily find out because this half yellow, half blue slab of vinyl is only $6 ppd.
