 Slow, dreamy indie-pop mixed in with big, bold guitar-rock, Earlimart know how to keep you on your toes. Kingdom of Champions is a record that isn't afraid to sit you down and make you listen one moment and then turn around and make you want to get up and move around with hard-hitting beats and guitar noise aplenty. The hooks are oft-drown from by the guitars on the noisy songs and buried during the slower songs, but Earlimart doesn't need hooks when they have noisy guitars and soft, simmering beats coming at you from every side. I'll give it a B-.
