Hello Kitty (Lunasea)

 Over the course of Hello Kitty's eleven tracks , this New York four-piece meshes the pop sensibilities of XTC and The Beatles with bits of T Rex's glam and strong vocal harmonies to create some of the smartest bubble gum pop I've heard in a long time. Within thirty seconds of opener "Starf**ker" the hooks have dug themselves in so deep you'll find yourself humming it the rest of the day (unless you're too busy humming one of the other gems here). If your definition of "pop" means is catchy, hook-heavy tunes that put a smile on your face then you'll definitely want to check out Hello Kitty.
