Pure Bastard Rock (Orange)

 Pure Bastard Rock is just that, a gritty, down-on-their-knees lo-fi mesh of blistering guitars, walls of noise, and screams that fill out the sound. This is rock 'n' roll that will kick the shit out of you, taunt you some, and then pull you up just to knock you down again. It isn't technically great, as the recording is lo-fi and noisy, though it is this quality that plays in the music's favor, adding dirt under the fingernails and ensuring the validity of the record is not lost in the recording process. I'll give it a B.
