 Saves The Day's latest, Stay What You Are is leaps and bounds beyond their previous releases. Stay What You Are expands beyond the pop-punk norm, delivering a beautifully crafted pop record with warm melodies, tearing vocals that rip into you and make you feel every word, and charged beats sure to get you up and dancing. This is still pop-punk, but better written with more definition and substance. Imagine a bleeding heart emo vocalist working along side a Beatles-esque melody writer while the punk band delivers the noise. Catchy, bright, and sincere. This is what pop-punk should be. I'll give it an A.
