Seafood Surviving the Quiet (Big Wheel Recreation) By: Alex Steininger

Guitar-driven indie rock music with plenty of verve, Seafood's Surviving the Quiet is as masterful as it is beautiful. A pop record with enough vigor to really jump start things, and enough pop smarts to enchant you in its pop delicacy, the record is a warm, open book collection of jangle-y ditties and melancholy glory. Here is the rare indie rock record that can be so intricate and so pretty, but also has the balls to rock. I'll give it an A-.
