Landing
Circuit (Music Fellowship)

By: Alex Steininger

Pretty synthesizer heavy psychedelic indie-pop songs, Landing is a long, drawn out acid trip of happy thoughts. Though, therein lies the problem. The songs are too long, meander without going anywhere, and do nothing more than serve as backing music for cleaning the house or sitting down and relaxing.

The soundscapes and textures they create musically are quite compelling, though without any real structure or point, they get lost in the shuffle, losing your attention after a few minutes. And then they never manage to regain your attention. What this band needs is a few more years under their belts, a good producer, and some live shows and they'll be monstrous. Until then, they're mediocre at best. I'll give this a C-.15
