Sulphur
Compound (Sulphur)

By: Alex Steininger

Electronically symphonic dream-inducing numbers, Sulphur is a record label sampler, including tracks found within their catalog, as well as extra tracks not found in their catalog. From "The Gates to Film City" by Future Pilot A.K.A. vs. Two Lone Swordsmen, with its mysterious electronic-spy dance to the abstract jazz of Solo's "Wells World", Sulphur covers a lot of ground. Self-described as covering "varying projects from abstract electronica, minimalistic schizophrenic jazz, dubbed out rhythms to fused contemporary composition with sampledelic experimentation," futures and people looking for something outside of the norm - something that could very well be the norm in twenty years - will find solace in this compilation. Or, rather in Sulphur Records. I'll give it an A.
