 Much more than hardcore, Jane Doe's Converge steals tricks from psychedelic rock, space-pop, and, of course, punk. A full-on blast of soaring, sometimes swooning guitars and a wall of sonic chaos, the gut-wrenching power and fire breathing roar of Jane Doe conjures up images of death, destruction, pain, and pleasure. This is hardcore for hardcore fanatics, people who think modern metal and hardcore is just too weak. Extreme music that pushes the envelope on extreme; I'll give it a B.
