 Aereogramme's A Story In White is being released in the U.S. by Matador; the Matador release includes three tracks from the White Paw EP, which were not on the UK release. The album is a loud, colossal collection of metal mayhem, rock destruction, and a penchant for soft, sweeping melodies before the hammer is dropped and the noise unleashed. One of the most beautiful things about this album is Aereogramme's ability to sing pretty, low-key pop songs before reaching deep down into the gut and ripping into some brutal screams. This is a shocker, something that will lull you to sleep and shake you with fury. I'll give it an A.
