 If Randy Newman ever collaborated with the Beatles, this is what it would sound like. Up- tempo ditties with oddball lyrics, traditional melodies and ominous harmonies paint this CD from top to bottom. If you listen closely, you'll hear horses clip-clopping in the breaks produced from a Yamaha with a hell of a selection of sounds. Laughing All the While is a collection of silly songs with even sillier titles like "Silence the Little Girls Sparkle" and "Blue Stew, Oh the Witches Brew." If you consider yourself an eclectic music lover, we suggest you add this one to the mix and you'll be the envy of all your music-loving buddies.
